This site provides access
to a spreadsheet calculator to determine the economics of controlling
evaporation losses from storages
The user should download the reference manual and associated calculation
spreadsheet from the links provided. Site specific evaporation data
can then be extracted from this site for the storage location
The Ready Reckoner was developed
by the CRC Irrigation Futures through FSA Consulting and
the NCEA. Funding was provided by the National Program for
Sustainable Irrigation. Queensland Department of Natural
Resources Mines and Water
provided access to the meteorological data through the SILO
database.
