Issue or Problem to be AddressedTo encourage and promote the development of young professionals in the Australian irrigation industry.
Objectives
  • To provide professionals within the irrigation industry the opportunity to travel overseas to gain experience and knowledge in their nominated area of interest
  • To report the travel fellowship winner's travel and study program in newsletters for the various irrigation programs and associations and to disseminate the outcomes and learnings of the fellowship broadly
Comment

The Program Management Committee valued the contribution that the Fellowship has made in previous years to building researcher capacity in Australia. The National Program for Sustainable Irrigation ANCID Fellowship will continue to build researcher capacity, and help communicate overseas experience to targeted audiences in Australia.
