2007 Irrigation Fellowship winner puts people power into irrigation
Kimberley Graham an Honours student in Natural Resource Management at the University of Melbourne will use the Fellowship to survey stakeholders and ask them to define the issues surrounding water security. This annual Fellowship is sponsored by the National Program for Sustainable Irrigation NPSI and the Australian National Committee on Irrigation and Drainage ANCID

A desire to ensure a sustainable future for irrigation in northern Australia has won Anna Price the prestigious 2006 Travel Fellowship. Anna plans to visit irrigation regions with similar climates to northern Australia, develop an understanding of their sustainability issues, and how this might be used to improve irrigation in northern Australia

For growers, the main advantage of including recycled water in their irrigation system is an increased supply of high security water. Recent research has been developing the processes and tools that growers need to safely use recycled water.
