The Knowledge Base is a collection of ten years of the National Program for Sustainable Irrigation Program's irrigation research, as well as abstracts from more than 1,000 other scientific articles relevant to Australian irrigation.

It provides summaries of research reports and presents the main lessons from the research in the categories shown in the matrix. 

The aim is to assist users to quickly find research that is relevant to them, using either keyword, author or topic queries.

The Knowledge Base then uses a simple drill down to get to more information about the research paper and, where possible, the URL to the paper itself.
